More Ammbassador Magma Toys!
Here's more images of extra cool Magma Taishi  rarities supplied by
some of our website viewers for your enjoyment!!!
Lugo Buster Todd J. Thomas e-mailed asking if the creature on the 1st page of the 2 page Monster Times article from 1972 was The
Monster
Aron,  because he's had a vinyl Aron figure since his childhood, and had not seen that image. Of course we asked Todd to share with
the fans of
Ambassador Magma  and The Space Giants and he was more than willing to share his childhood memories with us. Todd sent
the images below and we're happy he did! Fans of the
Space Avenger will notice that he appears on the box art in rocket form, but there is no
visible mention of the TV show,
Japanese or U.S., no "As SeenOn TV" because when this toy originally sold, the series had not aired in
the U.S., when it did air,
Aron became Taron.

"I remember receiving this toy on Christmas Eve of 1967 (I think).
I remember the first time I turned on the mighty  monster
Aron. His eyes
glowed and he gave off an eerie screech. I set him down and off he roared,
bumping into walls and tables while changing directions, searching to
destroy the defender of earth-
Magma Taishi/Goldarr The Space Avenger!

Thanks for sharing Todd! It's Fantastic!I Love the graphics and details!

Both kits are  factory sealed and hard to find!
The  fantastic cover art, produced no doubt by Osamu
Tezuka's studio, shows that even faded, the power of
those illustrations hit you ...
POW!  like one of Magma's
Punches! The monsters on the smaller kit are from the
TV series and not in the comics.

Ambassador Magma Volume One Variations and Translation.
Just for fun, here's 4 different dust covers for the 1st volume of Ambassador Magma,  printed in black and white, the 1995
edition (Far corner, bottom)  has the first 4  pages in full painted color. Several of these editions have had multiple printings over
the decades.   We've included a translation of the original story as published in Volume 1 so that you may compare it  with the
